Marriott International Promotes Dilpreet Singh to Vice President-Operations, South Asia
Hospitality veteran Dilpreet Singh with over 30 years of experience expands responsibilities while continuing to oversee franchise operations across the region.

Marriott International has promoted Singh to an expanded leadership role, where he will oversee operations across South Asia while continuing to lead franchise operations for the region. He will continue to report to Silvio Rosenberger and Kiran Andicot.
A hospitality professional with more than 30 years of experience, Singh brings extensive expertise across hotel operations, food and beverage management, hotel pre-openings, and regional leadership.
Singh joined Marriott International in 2015 as Director of Operations at JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity and subsequently served as General Manager of JW Marriott Chandigarh. In 2018, he transitioned to Marriott’s area operations team, taking on broader regional responsibilities.
Most recently, Singh served as Senior Director of Operations for North India, Nepal & Bhutan, and Franchise Operations. In this capacity, he was responsible for driving operational performance, enhancing guest experiences, and supporting hotel owners across the region.
Driving Operational Excellence
Over the course of his tenure with Marriott, Singh has built strong relationships with ownership groups and hotel leadership teams while contributing significantly to operational excellence across the company’s South Asia portfolio.
Prior to joining Marriott, Singh spent more than 19 years with The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), where he held a range of leadership positions across food and beverage, catering, and hotel operations. Among his notable assignments was his role as General Manager of Taj Gateway Resort, Damdama Lake.
According to Marriott International, the appointment underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening operational leadership and ensuring continuity as it accelerates growth across South Asia.
The promotion comes at a time when Marriott continues to expand its managed and franchised hotel portfolio across key markets in the region, supported by rising demand for branded hospitality assets and sustained growth in travel and tourism activity.
