Victor Clavell Joins Aman Group as Chief Operating Officer
Luxury hospitality veteran Victor Clavell brings over 30 years of global leadership experience to support Aman Group’s next phase of operational excellence and strategic expansion.

Aman Group has appointed Victor Clavell as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), reinforcing its leadership team as the ultra-luxury hospitality and lifestyle brand accelerates its global growth strategy.
Based at the company’s corporate headquarters in Switzerland, Clavell will report directly to Chairman and CEO Vlad Doronin.
Welcoming Clavell to the executive team, Vlad Doronin described him as a seasoned hospitality leader whose global expertise, operational discipline, and deep understanding of luxury hospitality will be instrumental in supporting Aman Group's continued evolution and long-term growth.
Three Decades of Luxury Hospitality Expertise
Clavell brings more than 30 years of international experience in luxury hospitality, having held senior leadership positions with some of the industry’s most prestigious brands, including The Ritz-Carlton, Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, and Rosewood Hotel Group.
Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Urban Resort Concepts in Hong Kong, where he led the international expansion of The PuLi Group. Prior to that, as Senior Vice President & Managing Director at Rosewood Hotel Group, he oversaw the company's operations and portfolio across Europe and the Middle East, driving growth and operational performance.
Commenting on his appointment, Clavell said: “Aman has set the benchmark for luxury hospitality for more than three decades, and I am delighted to join the company as it continues to evolve.”
In his new role, Clavell will oversee Aman Group’s global operations, ensuring the continued delivery of exceptional guest experiences while enhancing operational efficiency and financial performance across the company's portfolio, including its lifestyle brand Janu.
Working closely with Doronin, he will also play a key role in advancing Aman Group's international expansion through new hotels, resorts, branded residences, and lifestyle ventures.
Clavell’s appointment underscores Aman Group’s commitment to strengthening its executive leadership as it enters its next phase of global expansion. His extensive operational expertise and proven track record in managing luxury hospitality brands are expected to further enhance the company’s strategic development, operational excellence, and position as a leader in the ultra-luxury hospitality sector.
