MakeMyTrip has entered into a strategic partnership with global hospitality group Minor Hotels, reinforcing its push to expand direct international hotel inventory. The move underscores MakeMyTrip’s growing stature as a preferred booking platform for Indian travellers planning overseas stays, particularly in the premium and luxury segments.
Over the past year, MakeMyTrip facilitated bookings across more than 77,900 unique hotels spanning 4,350+ cities in 192 countries. In 2025, the number of unique international hotels sold on the platform grew 17 percent year-on-year, compared to 2024. Notably, nearly one-third of these bookings came from the premium hotel category, with an average room-night value exceeding ₹15,000, highlighting rising demand for higher-end travel experiences among Indian consumers.
