Bengaluru Hospitality Market Gains Momentum with Signing of Gateway Yeshwantpur

IHCL signs Brownfield Gateway Hotel in Yeshwantpur, strengthening presence in Bengaluru’s key commercial corridor.

IHCL announces the signing of Gateway Yeshwantpur, Bengaluru, a brownfield hospitality project that will further strengthen the company’s footprint in one of India’s most dynamic lodging markets.

 

Commenting on the development, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President–Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said: “Bengaluru is among India’s leading lodging markets, with Yeshwantpur emerging as a key commercial micro-market. The addition of the reimagined Gateway brand in Yeshwantpur reinforces IHCL’s presence in North Bengaluru. The construction of this joint development project is expected to be completed within 24 months. Strengthening our partnership with Satish Shetty of Naveen Hotels, this signing represents our third hotel through this association.”

 

The project underscores IHCL’s continued focus on expanding its portfolio in high-growth urban centers while deepening strategic partnerships with established regional developers.

Hotel Overview and Guest Offerings

The 283-key Gateway Yeshwantpur, Bengaluru will be designed to cater to both business and leisure travellers. The property will also offer approximately 13,000 sq. ft. of event and meeting space, including two large pillarless banquet halls and multiple meeting and conference rooms.

 

In addition, guests will have access to a state-of-the-art fitness centre and a swimming pool, enhancing the hotel’s leisure and wellness offerings.

The signing marks the third hospitality project developed through the collaboration between IHCL and Naveen Hotels, reflecting the strength of the long-standing partnership.
