Cygnett Hotels & Resorts is expanding its footprint in Jim Corbett with the signing of a new Cozzet by Cygnett property, marking its second hotel in the destination and strengthening its presence in one of North India’s established wildlife and leisure markets.
Located just 50 metres from the Mohan Gate of Jim Corbett National Park, the upcoming retreat will feature 51 cottages designed around Cozzet’s contemporary, value-led hospitality proposition. Warm wood, neutral tones, violet accents and nature-inspired elements will create a relaxed setting that complements the surrounding wilderness.
The property will also feature an all-day dining restaurant and a 3,000 sq. ft. banquet venue for social celebrations, corporate meetings, conferences and off-site events.
Designed Around the Corbett Experience
A natural stream runs along the rear of the property, with the cottages overlooking the water. The location also provides convenient access to safari experiences and attractions including Garjiya Devi Temple, the Kosi River, Corbett Waterfalls, Dhangarhi Museum and the Jim Corbett Museum at Kaladhungi.
“Jim Corbett is an established leisure market with strong year-round recognition and a steadily widening domestic traveller base,” said Sarbendra Sarkar, Founder & Managing Director, Cygnett Hotels & Resorts. “The proximity to the safari gate and the natural setting make this property particularly well suited to that approach.”
The signing forms part of Cygnett’s broader expansion strategy across high-potential leisure and emerging destinations. Its Cozzet by Cygnett brand follows a “Smart, Safe & Sensible” positioning, combining contemporary accommodation, essential amenities and value-led hospitality.
