Air Canada has increased the frequency of its Delhi–Toronto service to twice daily in response to rising passenger demand and capacity constraints affecting airlines operating between the Middle East and North America.

Ongoing geopolitical tensions, particularly the Israel–Iran conflict, have resulted in the closure of significant portions of Middle Eastern airspace. These restrictions have disrupted international flight operations, forcing several airlines to cancel or delay services across the region and on long-haul routes that typically transit Middle Eastern corridors.

To address the resulting demand imbalance and provide additional travel options for passengers—particularly Indian travelers heading to North America—Canada’s flag carrier has temporarily expanded its operations on the Delhi–Toronto route. The enhanced schedule will remain in place until the end of April.

The additional frequency is intended to support passenger demand during a period of constrained capacity and ongoing operational disruption in key international air corridors.
