EkoStay has expanded its premium villa network across Maharashtra and Karnataka ahead of the monsoon travel season.
The expansion includes new boutique properties in Nashik, Wada, Igatpuri, Lonavala and Chikmagalur, reinforcing the company’s presence across popular drive-to leisure destinations that continue to witness growing demand for private villa stays and experiential travel.
The newly launched properties include Vana Mora in Nashik, Wada Crest in Wada, Casa Elara in Igatpuri, Casa Bella in Lonavala and Forest Cube Villa in Chikmagalur. The additions form part of EkoStay's strategy to offer design-led, professionally managed villas that combine privacy, comfort and destination-driven experiences for modern travellers.
The portfolio features a diverse mix of stays, from wellness retreats and luxury pool villas to large-format celebration homes and nature-inspired forest escapes. While Wada Crest offers a serene three-bedroom countryside retreat, Casa Elara overlooks the mountains of Igatpuri, Casa Bella caters to larger groups with expansive entertainment spaces, and Forest Cube Villa brings guests closer to Chikmagalur's coffee plantations and forests.
Capitalising on the Shift Towards Private Villa Travel
The expansion comes as travellers increasingly opt for short, driveable holidays and private accommodations over conventional hotel stays, particularly during the monsoon season.
Commenting on the expansion, Varun Arora, CEO & Co-Founder, EkoStay, said, “Travellers today are looking for experiences that are more private, immersive and connected to the destination. Maharashtra and Karnataka continue to be strong leisure markets because of their accessibility and year-round demand. With these new additions, we are focused on creating hospitality experiences that combine comfort, thoughtful design and a strong sense of place.”
Husain Khatumdi, Managing Director & Co-Founder, said the company remains focused on destinations with long-term leisure potential. “Demand for professionally managed private villas has evolved significantly, with guests seeking reliable, high-quality hospitality alongside premium accommodations. Our strategy is to build curated villa ecosystems that benefit both travellers and homeowners.”
Highlighting the company's operational approach, Sohail Mirchandani, COO & Co-Founder, added, “As we scale across multiple destinations, we continue investing in standardised operations, guest servicing systems and technology to ensure a consistent experience across every EkoStay property.”
Commenting on the company’s destination strategy, Zishan Khan said, “We focus on destinations that offer long-term experiential value. Our vision goes beyond expanding inventory—we aim to build curated villa clusters that deliver memorable stays while enabling homeowners to professionally monetise their properties.”
